The BOSS 300 TRI-CORE™ is a premium 300 mm, 25.4mm bore diamond blade developed for clean, precise cutting of highly polished porcelain tiles.
Its ultra thin 1.2 mm profile produces a narrower kerf, removing less material as it passes through the tile. This helps reduce cutting resistance and minimise edge chipping, making it particularly suitable for polished and delicate painted ceramics, high gloss porcelain surfaces where the finished edge matters.
The blade’s TRI-CORE™ construction combines two steel outer layers with a copper damping layer between them. Copper is softer and more vibration absorbing than steel, helping to reduce chatter and stabilise the blade during cutting. Its high thermal conductivity also helps distribute heat through the blade body and away from the cutting area.
By controlling vibration and heat, the layered core supports a smoother, quieter and more controlled cut while helping the ultra thin diamond rim maintain its accuracy.

Important: The maximum cutting depth must not extend beyond the outer steel section of the blade. The copper core is slightly thicker than the 1.2mm diamond rim and provides support to reduce vibration and twisting. It is not a cutting surface and must never enter or make contact with the material being cut.

Correct Use & Maintenance
Important cutting depth limitation:
The TRI CORE™ blade has an ultra thin 1.2mm diamond cutting rim. Because of this exceptionally thin construction for a 300mm blade, the copper core is slightly thicker than the diamond rim and provides additional support to help reduce vibration, flexing and twisting during cutting.
The maximum cutting depth must never extend beyond the outer steel section of the blade. Do not allow the material to reach or make contact with the copper core.
The copper is a supporting component and is not part of the cutting edge. If it enters the cut, its greater thickness may cause the blade to bind against the material, generate excessive heat or become damaged.
Before cutting, set the machine depth so that only the diamond rim and outer steel section enter the material. This blade must only be used for straight, controlled wet cutting without twisting, sideways pressure or forcing the blade.
