2. These Terms

These terms apply when you visit this website or purchase products from us.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Returns and Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Eligibility to Purchase

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied during checkout is complete and accurate.

4. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, compatibility information and prices are accurate.

Images are provided for illustration. Minor differences in colour, finish, packaging or appearance may occur without affecting the product’s specification, safety or performance.

Product dimensions and technical information may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

You are responsible for checking that a product’s diameter, bore size, thickness, operating speed, intended material and machine compatibility are suitable before ordering and before use.

If you are uncertain whether a product is suitable, contact us before purchasing or installing it.

5. Professional Cutting Products and Safe Use

Diamond blades and related products must be selected, installed, operated and maintained correctly.

Before every use, the user must inspect the blade for cracks, deformation, damage, defective or missing segments and any other indication that the blade may be unsafe.

A damaged or suspect blade must not be installed or used.

The user must:

  • Follow the blade label, product instructions and machine manufacturer’s instructions

  • Use only compatible and properly maintained equipment

  • Check the blade’s maximum RPM against the operating speed of the machine

  • Fit the blade correctly using suitable flanges, guards and fittings

  • Use the specified cooling method or water supply

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment

  • Control exposure to dust, including respirable crystalline silica

  • Avoid twisting, side loading, impact and excessive cutting pressure

  • Stop using the blade immediately if abnormal vibration, noise, damage or performance occurs

Products must only be used by competent persons or under appropriate supervision.

Product information on this website does not replace proper training, a workplace risk assessment or the safety and operating instructions supplied by the machine manufacturer.

6. Orders

When you place an order, BOSS Blades™ will send you an electronic order confirmation.

A contract is formed when we accept and confirm your order.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if:

  • The product is unavailable

  • The price or description contains an obvious error

  • Payment cannot be authorised

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised payment

  • Delivery is not available to the address supplied

  • The order breaches these terms or applicable law

If payment has already been taken for an order that we cannot accept, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

7. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the applicable rate unless clearly stated otherwise.

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payment must be authorised before an order is processed.

You must have permission to use the payment method supplied.

We are not responsible for any additional fees or charges applied independently by your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

8. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative, revised delivery arrangement or refund.

We will not substitute a product without your agreement.

9. Delivery

We currently deliver only to the locations made available at checkout.

Delivery prices, available services and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause a delivery to be delayed.

Please check the delivery address carefully before completing your order. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, although we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer when the goods are delivered to the customer or to a person identified by the customer to receive them.

10. Inspection on Delivery

Please inspect the product and its packaging as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If an item is damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us promptly and provide your order number and photographs where possible.

Do not install or use any blade that appears damaged, cracked, deformed or unsafe.

Reporting an issue promptly helps us investigate the delivery and resolve the matter, but it does not affect your statutory rights.

11. Returns, Cancellations and Faults

Returns, order cancellations, damaged deliveries and products reported as faulty are handled in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

UK consumers normally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of delivery and then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Our voluntary returns policy allows qualifying unused products to be returned when the return is requested within 30 days of delivery.

A diamond blade reported as faulty may require technical inspection.

We may request relevant information about the machine, blade installation, material being cut, cooling method, operating conditions and approximate cutting distance. This information helps us determine whether the issue arose from an inherent product defect or from installation, use, wear, maintenance or external damage.

A manufacturing fault will commonly become apparent during the blade’s initial use. Early failure is therefore an important diagnostic indicator, but every reported fault will be assessed according to its individual circumstances.

Our inspection process does not limit or replace the customer’s statutory rights.

12. Complimentary Accessory Packs

A complimentary accessory pack may be supplied with qualifying blades while the offer is available.

The pack may include a grindstone, pencil and disposable earplugs. The precise presentation or contents may occasionally change, provided the replacement items serve an equivalent purpose or offer an equivalent value.

Complimentary items:

  • Have no cash alternative

  • Cannot be exchanged separately

  • Are supplied only with qualifying products

  • Remain subject to availability

When an entire order is returned for a change-of-mind refund, all complimentary items supplied with that order must also be returned.

Where legally permitted, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund if complimentary items are missing, used or damaged.

13. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated conditions and availability.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Only one promotional code may be used per order

  • Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Codes cannot be applied retrospectively

  • Promotions may be withdrawn or amended before an order is placed

  • Discounts do not apply to delivery charges

  • Products returned from a promotional order will be refunded at the amount actually paid

Nothing in this section affects an order that we have already accepted.

14. Intellectual Property

The content of this website—including the BOSS Blades™ name, logos, product graphics, photographs, videos, written material and page design—is owned by us or used with permission.

You may view and print website content for personal use or legitimate business purchasing purposes.

You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit our website content without prior written permission.

15. Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, image, video or other content, it must be accurate, lawful and based on genuine experience.

You must not submit content that is:

  • Misleading or fraudulent

  • Defamatory or abusive

  • Discriminatory or threatening

  • Unlawful

  • Infringing upon another person’s intellectual property or privacy

We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary. We will not selectively conceal a genuine review merely because it is critical of a product or service.

16. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, privacy practices or availability.

17. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Breach of statutory consumer rights

  • Any matter for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for business losses suffered by a person purchasing as a consumer.

If you purchase wholly or mainly for business purposes, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of contracts or loss of opportunity, except where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Nothing in these terms makes us responsible for loss or damage caused by:

  • Incorrect product selection

  • Use with unsuitable machinery

  • Incorrect blade installation

  • Misuse or improper handling

  • Inadequate cooling or water supply

  • Failure to follow safety instructions

  • Unauthorised modification

  • Accidental or impact damage

  • Continued use after damage or abnormal operation becomes apparent

  • Normal wear and tear

This section does not remove any legal remedy available where a product is inherently faulty, not as described or not fit for its stated purpose.

18. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Such events may include carrier disruption, severe weather, industrial action, fire, flood, accident, failure of utilities or communications networks, government action or interruption of supply.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of such events and contact affected customers where appropriate.

19. Personal Information and Payments

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Payments are handled securely through the payment services made available at checkout.

We do not receive or store complete payment-card details.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or legal obligations.

The terms applying to an order are those in force when the order is placed. Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing contract.

21. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

22. Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these terms, that does not prevent us from enforcing that right later.

23. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Consumers retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which they live and may bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
